Located in historic Cuero, Texas, this lovingly restored home is believed to have been built or moved to this site in 1889. Only two families occupied this home prior to its purchase by Jacque Schumacher in 1997.

The Thompson sisters, Kate and Nell (also known as the flashlight sisters) occupied this property the longest.

Local craftsmen lovingly replicated the home's original design features, bringing the home back to its original beauty.

Broadway House is furnished in vintage antiques, but incorporates all the modern conveniences, assuring your stay here to be enjoyable and comfortable.

Cuero is a city rich in heritage, and we hope you will be able to experience all it has to offer. For great resources on the history of Cuero visit the Cuero Chamber of Commerce, The Handbook of Texas Online, or A Visitors Guide to DeWitt County.

We look forward to your visit, and hope to see you soon.
